Vivo will be expanding its X300 flagship series with the new X300 Ultra and the X300 Max soon. The latter was previously referred to as Vivo X300s. This could make it the first ‘Max’ branded offering from the brand in the X-series. While there’s no official word from Vivo about them, the Max variant gets a step closer to its launch, as it has bagged a certification in China. Additionally, the Vivo X300 Max specs have surfaced on Weibo.
Vivo X300 Max specs have leaked ahead of launch
The certification document shows a Vivo phone carrying the model number V2548A. This is believed to be the Vivo X300 Max. However, the listing doesn’t reveal any hardware details. Leaker Digital Chat Station comes to the rescue, as he sheds some light on the phone (V258A). The leaked specs suggest that we could be looking at a proper flagship.
As per the leak, the Vivo X300 Max will sport a large 6.78-inch LTPO flat display with a 1.5K resolution. Though there’s no mention of the panel, it may use an AMOLED display like the other X300 models. The front will also accommodate a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

MediaTek Dimensity 9500, 200MP camera, and 90W fast charging
At the core, the Vivo X300 Max may feature the Dimensity 9500 SoC, which is a current flagship chip from house MediaTek. This also powers the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Digital Chat Station says the phone will house at least a 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, justifying the Max branding. If this stands true, it’s bigger than its other X300 siblings. The Vivo X300 houses a 6,040mAh cell, and the X300 Pro has a 6,510mAh battery.
For photography, the Vivo X300 Max may house a 200MP main camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with a telephoto macro function. It’ll get Zeiss optics, support for the N79 frequency band, and an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
Besides specs, it’s not clear whether the Vivo X300 Max will debut globally or will be exclusive to China. Vivo makes some of the best Android phones, especially for camera enthusiasts. We hope it expands to more regions.
