
- Jon Dutton and Andrew Elliott, longtime in-house office leasing brokers for Granite Properties (Granite), have joined its Houston office agency leasing team. Dutton and Elliott will continue overseeing office leasing for Granite’s 2.1 million-square-foot portfolio in the market. Serving as an Executive Vice President in JLL’s Houston office, Jon Dutton brings over 20 years of experience to his new role. In addition to spending the prior four years at Granite, Elliott also held positions at CBRE and SNC-Lavalin.
- Lynd Acquisitions Group promoted Antonio Parra to Senior Associate. The promotion follows Parra’s key role in sourcing a 308-unit Class A apartment acquisition in San Antonio’s Forest Crest neighborhood. Parra joined Lynd in 2021 as an acquisitions intern while earning his degree in Finance & Risk Management from St. Mary’s University. He advanced to a full-time role as an Acquisitions and Development Associate, primarily focused on underwriting transactions.
- Jonas Woods, Founder of Pacific Elm Properties (“PacElm”) announced the appointment of Billy Prewitt as Chief Executive Officer. Prewitt, a founding partner of PacElm and its former Chief Investment Officer, succeeds Woods, who will transition to a strategic advisory role while remaining PacElm’s second-largest investor. He has spearheaded initiatives to develop iconic office properties and repurpose underutilized buildings into vibrant residential and hospitality spaces.
- Partners Real Estate announced the appointment of Mitchell Hanzik as Partner and Managing Director for Development in Texas. Mr. Hanzik will oversee development and construction efforts for the firm across Texas. Prior to joining Partners, Mr. Hanzik served as Managing Director at Allen Harrison Company where he led the company’s development and construction functions.
- BWE has arranged a $36 million loan for the refinancing of Crossroads at Terrell, a 260,877-square-foot shopping center located east of Dallas. Built between 2022 and 2024 within a larger mixed-use development, the center is home to tenants such as Hobby Lobby, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Marshalls, Burke’s Outlet and Petco. Matt Good of BWE arranged the loan.
