- DAHLIN Architecture | Planning | Interiors appointed Mark Lakins to Director – Project Development and Gregg Taylerson to Director – Design. Lakins will champion project development of residential, mixed-use, and custom luxury homes for DAHLIN across the Southwest Region. Taylerson will advance residential design for DAHLIN throughout Texas and across the country especially with large master-planned developments.
- According to a Partner’s report, Houston’s industrial market remained healthy in Q3 2025, driven by an increase in leasing activity and positive net absorption, despite a slight rise in vacancy and an elevated construction pipeline. Quarterly leasing velocity jumped 19.4% to 10.7 million square feet from 9.0 million square feet in Q2 2025, driven by heightened demand for warehouse/distribution space. Manufacturing leasing activity increased significantly by 33% in the third quarter. All property types recorded positive absorption, with warehouse/distribution space remaining the dynamic segment.
- Nuveen Green Capital, in conjunction with Lone Star PACE, facilitated $5.5 million in C-PACE financing for a 1.1-million-square-foot multi-tenant office tower located at 600 E. Las Colinas Blvd, in the Dallas-area suburb of Irving. The 22-story high-rise underwent HVAC and automation control upgrades in August 2024, which qualified for Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing. The property owner is retroactively financing these improvements through the C-PACE program.
- The Picklr is opening its third Austin location in Oak Hill this winter. The new 38,000 square foot facility will be located at 7107 West Hwy 71, Suite D1, formerly home to Epic Fun, and will feature eight world-class indoor courts, a full-service pickleball pro shop, private event spaces, and premium spectator viewing areas designed to foster both play and community connection.
- Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), announced today the sale of a 108-room Comfort Suites hotel property in Arlington, Texas. Chris Gomes, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, Waramaug Hospitality, and procured the buyer, Whitestone Hospitality. Located at 411 W. Road to Six Flags St., the Comfort Suites Arlington – Entertainment District is an all-suites, upper-midscale hotel less than two miles from AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field and Six Flags Over Texas.
