
- Holt Lunsford Commercial Investments (HLCI) hired Matthew Sibley as Vice President. In this new capacity, Sibley will be responsible for the sourcing and execution of investment opportunities in Houston. Sibley will be helming opportunity identification, contract negotiation, site due diligence, entitlement, design, and construction of HLCI Houston assets. Prior to joining HLCI, Sibley served as the Associate Director of Industrial Development at Stream Realty Partners.
- VanTrust Real Estate has named Max Mueller senior director of development in its Dallas office. He will be in charge of identifying, evaluating, and executing development and build-to-suit opportunities in VanTrust’s primary asset classes. The role includes coordinating with municipalities, engaging in leasing negotiations, and collaborating with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors. Mueller’s career path includes stints at Logistics Property Co. and Ridge Development.
- Savills added Charles Brewer to its Dallas-Fort Worth office. Brewer joins as vice chairman and will focus on advising industrial occupiers on tenant representation strategies. Throughout his career, he has represented clients in more than 10 million square feet of transactions across North America, valued at over $660 million. Before joining Savills, he served as a senior vice president at Stream Realty Partners.
- CanTex Capital acquired a 266,200-square-foot Class-A industrial facility in Dallas. The property, located on 20.77 acres in the Mountain Creek Industrial Business Park is accessible via I-20, the George Bush Turnpike, Highway 67, and Loop 12. It boasts a 34-foot clear height, 3,000 amps of power, and approximately 8,000 square feet of office space. The site also features 285 parking spaces and four acres of additional land that may be used for outdoor storage or future development.
- Lincoln Property Company (“Lincoln”) announced the expansion of its Corporate Advisory & Solutions (“CAS”) group with four strategic hires of seasoned corporate occupier experts to its Business Development team. Will Burchfield was appointed Business Development Director for Lincoln’s CAS group. He is joined by Madison Davis, Business Development Strategist; Andrew Dixon, Business Development Manager; and Joe Hartmann, Senior Business Development Manager.
