
- JLL selected Lee McKenna to lead healthcare teams in Central and South Texas. As a Managing Director, he will be based in San Antonio handling project leasing, development, investment sales and tenant representation across the San Antonio and Austin markets. McKenna will use his more than 12 years of healthcare industry experience to build a San Antonio-based healthcare team. McKenna joins JLL after nearly seven years at Stream Realty Partners.
- Partners Capital, the investment platform of Partners Real Estate (“Partners”), has appointed Alex Board Senior Vice President of Finance. In his new role, Mr. Board will oversee the finance and accounting functions for Partners Capital. Previously, Mr. Board served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer at Silver Star Properties REIT.
- Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of Van Alstyne Self Storage, a 92,220 rentable-square-foot storage facility on an approximately 8.72-acre lot in Van Alstyne, Texas. Brandon Karr and Danny Cunningham represented the buyer and seller, both not disclosed. Van Alstyne Self Storage is located at 15074 N. U.S. Highway 75. The unit mix consists of 42 climate-controlled units, 208 non-climate drive-up units, 91 covered parking spaces, 69 uncovered parking spaces and an on-site residence.
- Dallas-based Younger Partners recently completed the sale of a prominent, multi-tenant retail building at the northeast corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane in the highly sought-after Preston Hollow area. The sale of the 4,840-square-foot property at 11810 Preston Rd. was arranged by Younger Partners Senior Associate Luke Nolan, who facilitated the deal between the buyer and the seller.
- Dallas saw its millionaire renter households jump from 14 in 2019 to 185 in 2023—a 12-fold increase—earning it the No. 2 spot among the fastest-growing metro areas for millionaire renters in the nation.
