Pinecrest will deliver The Penny before the 2027 school year starts. The new student 20-story apartment complex just off the Texas A & M campus will have 605 beds. The 199 units will include studio, one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom configurations with bed-to-bath parity, including townhomes.
Shared amenities will include multiple study spaces, a resort-style pool, pickleball court, fitness center, package lockers, an automated market and a pet relief area and washroom.
The development team for the project includes Rhode Partners, Rycon Construction, Mitchell & Morgan and Rhode Interior Design. CIBC USA and First Bank of Chicago provided construction financing for the development.
The apartment community selected Century Square as a prime location for its leasing office and showroom. Century Square features premium retail and restaurant establishments, entertainment venues, Class-A office space, two full-service hotels—The George and Cavalry Court— and luxury apartment homes at 100 Park.
