Carriers sometimes go out of their way and offer some additional perks to their customers to keep them from migrating to other networks. This comes as the carrier competition is heating up. At the end of the day, it’s the customers who are on the winning side, benefiting from some good deals. After introducing not-so-great retention plans, T-Mobile is back with something very lucrative, where it’s reportedly offering $800 off the Pixel 10 phone deal for select customers.
T-Mobile’s $800 off Pixel 10 phone deal targets select customers
As spotted on Reddit, the T-Mobile $800 off Google‘s Pixel 10 device deal is appearing in the T-Life app for eligible customers. While it’s a pretty great deal, how the carrier is determining eligibility is not clear. The company is likely targeting customers who are showing signs of leaving. The signs can be something like if you’ve generated a port-out pin, or ported out a line entirely recently.
The offer gives a credit of $799.99 spread out over 24 months, covering the cost of a Pixel 10 completely. Or, this can significantly reduce the cost of a Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, or Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The offer specifies that any trade-in device is eligible for this promo, in any condition. Basically, any old or broken phone qualifies for this offer.
There doesn’t seem to be any catch here either. Except that there’s a $35 Device Connection Charge, and you’ll also have to pay taxes on the new device. Notably, this offer doesn’t seem to be compatible with Costco. This means there’s no $100 gift card or waived off charges with this one.

There seems to be no catch
If you’re eligible, you should see a promo card (similar to the attached image) in the T-Life app. If it’s there for you, simply buy a new Pixel 10 device as an upgrade on your account, and when specifying your trade-in, you should see it qualify for the full $799.99 discount.Â
Even if the promo card is not showing, it’s worth giving it a shot. Simply start an upgrade on one of your lines and find the Pixel 10 in the phone list. If you see $0.00/mo, you’re likely eligible. Folks at The Mobile Report note that they’ve seen more accounts than usual being eligible for this promo, even when the title isn’t visible.
They also report that they’ve been told that eligible accounts will have a segment called Pixel 022026. This apparently can be seen by employees. The offer began on February 5th and should be available for a limited time. While there’s no clear end date, the promo name suggests it might end on February 20th.
