Some of you might be familiar with SwitchBot in the smart home space. The company got famous with its switch pusher device, essentially turning your home into a smart home without having to buy new switches or do a lot of rewiring. The company has since expanded its portfolio to cover more smart home devices, like smart curtains, robot vacuums, and more. Now, at IFA 2025, SwitchBot has taken the wraps off a bunch of new smart devices, including a pair of robotic plushies.
Meet the SwitchBot AI pets, Noa and Niko

At IFA 2025, SwitchBot took the wraps off two new AI powered pets called Noa and Niko. These new plushy robots are part of the company’s Kata friends series. Both these robots feature small wheels that allow them to move around. They are also powered by Ai, which allows them to recognize family members.
They are also able to respond to gestures and emotions, while also being able to show feelings of their own. Unfortunately, the company has not mentioned if there are plans to commercialize it nor how much it will cost. So, until they do, it looks like Noa and Niko are nothing more than just proof of concepts for now.
An AI-powered smart frame

If you’re looking for a SwitchBot product that’s more tangible, the company has also announced its new AI Art Frame at IFA 2025. This is an E Ink Spectra 6 display that allows users to upload their own photos or generate artwork using AI prompts. This allows users to constantly change the art on their walls. The use of AI means that you could create something that is truly unique to you and your needs.
The AI Art Frame is available in 7.3-, 13.3-, and 31.5-inch sizes. It can also fit into standard IKEA frames and is battery powered. The use of e-ink display tech means that it can last quite a while. SwitchBot claims it will last up to two years on a single charge. It also means no need to wire up your home unnecessarily or deal with messy cables.
SwitchBot AI Hub

Last but not least, SwitchBot has unveiled its new AI Hub. This is a more advanced version of the company’s existing smart home hub. Users can connect all sorts of smart home devices to it. If you have any of SwitchBot’s other products, like cameras or sensors, the AI Hub can work together with it to capture and interpret what’s going on in your home.
The AI Hub also supports dual-band WiFi, extended Bluetooth, and comes with 32GB of internal storage. It can be further expanded to 1TB. It can also manage up to eight 2K cameras, stream locally via RTSP, and support more than 100 SwitchBot devices and bridges.
