The Swig Company signed leases with two new tenants at 501 Second St., a Class A office property in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood. The tenants are LangChain, an open-source software framework that facilitates the integration of large language models into applications, and unitQ, an AI-enabled product quality monitoring platform.
LangChain signed a lease for 11,800 square feet, represented by Blake Walker and Caroline O’Loughlin Livermore of CBRE. unitQ leased 7,500 square feet, represented by Will Cassriel and Grant Dettmer of JLL. Transwestern’s Mike McCarthy, Brian McCarthy and Maddie Meyersieck represented Swig in both transactions.
“We’re happy to welcome LangChain and unitQ, two San Francisco-based enterprises advancing the application of artificial intelligence in business, to our diverse tenant community at 501 Second St, and look forward to supporting their future growth,” said Cory Kristoff, Swig director of leasing.
Now a LEED Platinum-, WELL- and Energy Star-rated office property, 501 Second was built as a warehouse in 1925.
