The Chevrolet Camaro has long stood as one of America’s most iconic muscle cars, with decades of history baked into its silhouette. And once in a while, a survivor like this turns up to remind us how clean these cars could look when left untouched.
This 1987 IROC-Z has been kept in a garage since the day it left the dealer, and in that time, it’s accumulated a mere 104 miles (167 km). With a figure like that, it’s no shock that the seller is seeking a pretty penny for it.

Rather than listing it through one of the more curated classic car auction sites like Bring a Trailer where it could probably fetch a handsome sum, the seller has gone the grassroots route. The Camaro is up for sale on Facebook Marketplace out of Bradenton, Florida.
According to the ad, the car was originally delivered by Modern Chevrolet in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and it’s been kept in climate-controlled garages ever since.
Time Capsule on Four Wheels

The IROC-Z, short for International Race of Champions, wasn’t just a visual package. It brought real upgrades to the table, making it one of the more desirable third-gen Camaros. Standard equipment included Delco-Bilstein shocks, stiffer sway bars, improved braking components, and a unique livery that gave it a sharper presence on the street.

Shoppers in the market for a Camaro IROC-Z could choose between two small-block V8s. The first was a 305 cubic-inch (5.0-liter) unit rated at 220 horsepower. The other was a 350 cubic-inch (5.7-liter) version making a slightly stronger 230 horsepower.
This particular example gets the larger engine, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel drive setup that defined the muscle cars of its day.

As this car has been driven so little, it looks absolutely pristine. The gorgeous deep red paint still glistens under direct light, and the original wheel and tires have been retained. The cabin shows no signs of wear, still trimmed in grey and black.
A glance at the factory invoice shows the car originally sold for $18,000 in 1987. Adjusted for inflation, that comes out to roughly $52,500 today. The current asking price, however, is significantly higher. The seller has listed the car for $92,500, which places it well above even a brand-new Camaro ZL1 1LE.
