- The design gives the Corolla sedan the same aggressive face as the GR.
- It doesn’t look like any mechanical upgrades are planned, just visual flair.
The Toyota GR Corolla has established itself as one of the best hot hatches on the market, serving as a proper rally car for the road. Now, a small aftermarket outfit in the States is giving Corolla sedan owners a chance to capture a bit of that spirit, or at least the look of it.
The company in question, CraftC Performance, recently took to Instagram to show off a GR Corolla bodykit they’re developing for the booted Corolla. Only a few photos have been released of the project, but the usually-modest grocery getter is about to get a whole lot spicier in the styling department.
Review: Toyota’s Rally-Bred GR Corolla Just Got Even Better For 2026
We’ve reached out to the shop to see if it is planning any serious powertrain upgrades for the sedan, but we aren’t getting our hopes up.
CraftC Performance primarily specializes in aftermarket body panels for several Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi models. In the case of the Corolla, it sells various LED taillights, headlights, side skirts, fenders, hoods, and rear spoilers.
How Wild Will It Look?
These photos show a white Corolla sedan sporting the same front bumper and grille as the GR Corolla hatch. It’s unclear how much work has had to be done to mount them, and if there was any custom fitting involved, but it certainly adds a whole new level of aggression to the car.
To match the rest of the changes, the prototype also features a carbon fiber hood and carbon front fenders.

As far as we’re aware, no one has yet built a true GR Corolla sedan. Doing so would be a serious undertaking, requiring not only the transplant of the 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine but also the six-speed manual gearbox (or the eight-speed automatic) and the sophisticated all-wheel-drive system.
Which raises the obvious question: why go through all the effort to create a GR Corolla sedan? From a purely financial standpoint, the cost would almost certainly surpass that of a used GR Corolla hatchback.
Yet in the world of tuning and personal expression, logic rarely gets the final say. For enthusiasts, the answer remains the same every single time: because they can.
