After receiving the go-ahead from the Scottsdale City Council, investors behind The Collector’s Garage at WestWorld can start preparing for construction on a 76,500 square foot car condo facility at Loop 101 and Scottsdale Airport. Collector’s Garage expects to break ground in 18 months. The five-acre site is located at 9909 E. McDowell Mountain Ranch Road. The development, which is expected to cost $55 million, will be less than two miles from the iconic Barrett-Jackson car auction property.
The Scottsdale Business Journal reports the proposed project will include 46 individual garages — 42 of which are 1,500 square feet and the remaining four are each 2,400 square feet — spread across five buildings.
Prospective buyers can customize individual garages at Collector’s Garage at WestWorld. In past car condo projects, condo owners have installed pickleball courts, built mezzanine levels and added vehicle lifts.
