One of Samsung’s upcoming mid-rangers could end up offering faster charging than the Samsung Galaxy S26. The phone in question is the Galaxy A57 5G, as it seems like the phone will end up offering 45W charging. That’s the same charging speed its predecessor supported.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 is said to offer faster charging than the Galaxy S26
The device got listed on the 3C Authority in China under the SM-A5760 model name. 45W wired charging is supported for the device. The listing reveals support for 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A charging.
We know that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will offer faster charging, but the Galaxy S26 is rumored to be stuck with 25W charging. That means that the Galaxy A57 will end up offering faster charging than one of the company’s flagships.
The Galaxy S26+ will probably also support 45W charging, just like the Galaxy A57 5G, but we’re still not sure. The Galaxy S25+ did offer 45W charging, but the Galaxy S26+ is still a mystery in that regard.
This phone will likely launch in March 2026
The Samsung Galaxy A56 was announced at the beginning of March this year. The same happened with the Galaxy A55 a year before that, so we’re expecting to see the Galaxy A57 in March next year. It’s possible Samsung will change things around, but if the company doesn’t do that, March it is.
Therefore, we don’t really have any other information about the Galaxy A57. Its specifications and design are still a mystery at this point. Based on what its predecessor offered, we do expect to see thin bezels, a flat display, and a 120Hz fullHD+ display.
Android 16 will come pre-installed on the phone, likely with One UI 8.5 on top. Three cameras are expected to be included on the back, along with a battery pack that will offer at least a 5,000mAh capacity. More info will likely surface in the near future.
