Samsung seems to be pretty busy working on new tablets for the second half of the year. The company recently launched the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite as a mid-range offering. We’ll also soon see more premium models like the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. However, Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Tab A11 as an even more affordable option, and a recent leak has revealed both key specs of the 4G variant and European pricing.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 specs leak
A recent Geekbench listing has revealed the core specifications of a device with the model number SM-X135F. As reported by Abhishek Yadav, the listing corresponds to the 4G variant of the Galaxy Tab A11. Geekbench confirms that the tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. If you’re not aware, this is the same processor found in the two-year-old Galaxy Tab A9. This decision likely reflects Samsung’s strategy to keep costs down. The Geekbench test also showed the tablet running on Android 15 under One UI. The affordable nature of the slate is reflected in its 4GB of RAM.
Prices for Europe
In addition to the performance specs, a separate leak from Sudhanshu Ambhore has shed light on the Galaxy Tab A11’s European pricing. The Wi-Fi-only model is rumored to start at €199 for the 64GB version. You can also purchase a 128GB option for €239. For those who need a constant connection, the 4G model is said to be priced at €229 for 64GB and €279 for 128GB. This pricing seems to align the Galaxy Tab A11 directly against other entry-level tablets from a variety of manufacturers.
Based on these leaks, the Galaxy Tab A11 aims at an audience looking for a large-screen device mainly for consuming multimedia content, using social apps, and some casual gaming. Its success will likely depend on its final price and how well it is positioned against the competition.
