Samsung is once again planning to announce three Galaxy S series smartphone, but in a somewhat different setup. Well, the thickness information has surfaced for all three of those Galaxy S26 series smartphones.
Thickness info for every Samsung Galaxy S26 series model just surfaced
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are allegedly coming. Based on the information provided by SammyGuru. Based on an “insider source”, the Galaxy S26 Pro will be 6.7mm thick. That phone will succeed the Galaxy S25. It will be 0.5mm thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S25 (7.2mm).
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge, on the other hand, will be 5.5mm thick. It will be 0.3mm thinner than the extremely thin Galaxy S25 Edge, which measures 5.8mm in the thickness department.
And ultimately, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, will also be thinner than its predecessor. It will be 7.8mm thick based on this information, 0.4mm less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is 8.2mm thick.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is keeping the S Pen despite a thinner profile
The report also claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will keep the S Pen, which is not the first time we’re hearing this. The Galaxy S27 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to ditch the S Pen stylus.
One thing worth noting is that these thickness numbers come from the latest internal prototypes, the source claims. There’s a good chance those prototypes are the final products. If not, the actual numbers could differ a bit.
The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to arrive early next year. All three phones will likely arrive in January 2026. The ‘+’ model is gone and being replaced by the ‘Edge’. The vanilla model is just getting a new name, the ‘Pro’ addition.
