Samsung has just indirectly confirmed when it plans to announce the Galaxy S26 series. Yes, it’s the date that has been rumored for a while now, February 25. We actually suspect that the official confirmation is coming either today or in the next couple of days.
Samsung indirectly confirmed the Galaxy S26 series launch date, it’s February 25
How did Samsung confirm this, exactly? Well, the official X account for Samsung’s Gulf arm posted a contest recently. If you peek inside the terms and conditions of that contest (shared below), you’ll find something interesting.

Part one of the contest, which is running “before Galaxy Unpacked”, will take place until February 24. Part two of the contest, which will run “during and after Galaxy Unpacked”, starts on February 25.
So, even though this is not a direct confirmation of the launch event, it kind of confirms when the event will take place. This, in addition to Evan Blass’ confirmation from a while back, is enough for us to be 100% sure that it’s happening on February 25.
Samsung is expected to fully announce the event either today, or in the coming days
As mentioned earlier, considering that we’re only 15 days away from that date, Samsung is expected to officially confirm the event either today or in the next couple of days. We’ll let you know when that happens.
As a reminder, March 11 is rumored to be the release date for the devices that will become official at the event. Speaking of which, those are the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. We’ve revealed official renders and specs for all three of those phones recently.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the most-leaked device in the series, which is completely unsurprising. The phone’s marketing image surfaced recently as well, while we’ve heard a lot about its Privacy Display feature.
The three phones will actually look very similar in comparison. The ‘Ultra’ model will be the largest, though, and the only one to offer an S Pen stylus. These three devices are expected to join the best Samsung phones that are currently available.
