A well-known tipster has just revealed the release date for Samsung’s upcoming products, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Flip 7, Galaxy Flip 7 FE, and Galaxy Watch 8 series.

The information comes from OnLeaks, as he reports that the device will become available on launch day, while being released for purchase on July 25. To be exact, he mentioned that they’ll go on pre-order at 3 PM on July 9.
We’re just not sure what time zone, as the launch event starts at 7 AM PST / 10 AM EST / 4 PM CET on July 9. The event is taking place in New York, which is why it starts sooner in the day than you may think.
As you can see, Samsung will be announcing three smartphones and three smartwatches. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra (2025) are expected to drop as far as smartwatches are concerned.
Now, regarding the release date, it’s rather late in the month, considering the launch date. Still, a later release date was expected. We thought it would happen somewhere between July 23 and 25, and it seems like that assumption was accurate.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be considerably thinner than its predecessor. The difference will actually be jarring, and the same goes for its weight, actually. Samsung is finally catching up to the competition from China.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have a brand new cover display. The folder-type cover display will remain on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, but the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will include a larger display, which will go around the phone’s cameras.
Do note that the company almost certainly will not announce its first tri-fold smartphone during this event. It may end up teasing it, but it won’t become official. That phone is coming later this year, and it’ll likely be available only in Korea and China.
