In addition to the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Tab S11 series. This series of tablets consists of the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The ‘Ultra’ is, of course, the more powerful of the two.
Samsung has announced two new tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 & Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra
The devices were announced during the company’s ‘Galaxy Event’, as part of IFA 2025 in Berlin. The Galaxy Tab S11 is smaller, and it doesn’t have a notch on the display. It does have thicker bezels than the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, though.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is actually quite a bit bigger in comparison. It has a 14.6-inch display, while the Galaxy Tab S11 includes a 10.9-inch panel. Both of them are Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the Ultra’s is sharper.
MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400+ chip fuels both tablets
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor fuels both tablets. The Galaxy Tab S11 comes with 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, on the other hand, comes in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants. Storage options range from 128GB to 1TB of storage.
If you’re wondering if you can expand the storage here, yes, you can. There’s a microSD card slot in both tablets, and it allows you to expand the storage up to 2TB. So you can get plenty of space to work with.
Both devices come with S Pen support, and both are IP68 certified
The smaller tablet includes an 8,400mAh battery, while the larger model comes with an 11,600mAh battery. Both devices do support 45W wired charging, however, so no worries there. Both of these tablets are IP68 certified, and both of them support an S Pen. You’ll also find quad spakers on both devices.
The Galaxy Tab S11 has a single 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera on the front. The ‘Ultra’ comes with a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera on the rear. It has the same 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper on the front as its sibling.
Android 16 comes pre-installed, while you’ll find an in-display fingerprint scanner in both of them
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also has the advantage of supporting Wi-Fi 7, while the Galaxy Tab S11 supports Wi-Fi 6E. Android 16 comes pre-installed on both devices, along with One UI 8.0. Both of them have in-display fingerprint scanners, too.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 measures 253.7 x 165.3 x 5.59mm, while it weighs 480.8 grams. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, on the other hand, measures 326.29 x 208.53 x 5.08mm, while it weighs 689.46 grams.
The pricing for the Galaxy Tab S11 series starts at $799.99
Both of these tablets are coming in two colors, Gray and Silver. The pricing for the Galaxy Tab S11 starts at $799.99, while the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will set you back $1,199.99 for the base model. The availability kicks off today, in case you’re interested.
