The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is closer than ever, as the company has started teasing some features coming to the new lineup on February 25. That’s when Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is rumored to take place. Since we are close to the launch, we expected to hear about the pricing of the device. Guess what? A new leak has just revealed the prices of all three Galaxy S26 series smartphones for Europe.
The prices of the Galaxy S26 series smartphones will reportedly remain the same in Europe
The news comes via SamMobile, which spotted a post on BlueSky by Roland Quandt, detailing the Galaxy S26 prices for Europe. Per Quandt, the base model, the Galaxy S26, will reportedly cost similar to the Galaxy S25 in Europe. So, we are looking at a price of somewhere around €899. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Plus will launch with a price tag of €1,169 in Europe, similar to its predecessor. Just to be clear, these are the prices of the base variants of both smartphones.
Speaking of variants, a leak emerging from Finland suggests that the Galaxy S26’s base variant will come with 256GB of storage. Putting it simply, the company is ditching 128GB of storage for the base model this year.
Coming back to pricing, Quandt also shares that the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with 256GB and 512GB storage variants, will cost €100 less than similar variants of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. So, we are looking at price tags of €1,469 and €1,569, respectively. For those curious, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will also launch in a 1TB model, fortunately with the same price tag for Europe, i.e., €1,829.
Samsung is “eating” up the rising memory and component cost for this year
Now, you must be wondering why the price details for Europe are contrary to what previous reports have been suggesting. Well, Quandt further mentions that Samsung is “eating the higher [memory] cost in most cases.” So, we are speculating that similar pricing will apply to the Galaxy S26 series in the U.S., too. Again, that’s something only time will tell. Moreover, Samsung will reportedly also ditch the storage upgrade per-order perk for the Galaxy S26 series.
