Samsung is planning to expand its Galaxy A range with two more devices, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 smartphones, soon. Ahead of the launch, we’ve already seen a handful of leaks and reports regarding the upcoming mid-range offerings. Most recently, we exclusively brought you the official renders of these phones in all colors. Now, a new leak suggests that Samsung could offer the AI Transcript Assist feature on the Galaxy A57.
The Galaxy A57 may become the first Galaxy A phone with Samsung’s AI Transcript Assist feature
On X, user @Alfaturk16 has posted a photo showing an alleged retail box of the upcoming Galaxy A57. Additionally, the photo contains the device itself. The photo shows the Samsung Galaxy A57’s AI Transcript Assist settings or user interface. If the image is true, the Galaxy A57 will become the first Galaxy A series Samsung phone to offer the AI Transcript Assist functionality.
As of now, it’s unclear if Samsung will offer the same feature on the Galaxy A37, which will be a more affordable offering than the Galaxy A57. However, we are certain that this functionality will likely make it to the budget offering as well. Samsung already offers many Galaxy AI features to Galaxy A series phones, but the Transcript Assist never made it to them. But it’ll change with the launch of the upcoming two models.
What is the Transcript Assist feature?
If you’re not aware, Galaxy AI Transcript Assist is a powerful tool that Samsung integrates directly into the native Voice Recorder app on compatible Galaxy devices. Using Galaxy AI, the feature can automatically convert voice recordings into text.
It can be a useful tool for meetings, lectures, or interviews, as the feature can identify different speakers, summarize the content, and translate the text into other languages. The company is currently offering this feature on flagship devices only.
