Samsung Galaxy A37
Samsung’s affordable mid-ranger packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP triple camera system, and IP68 durability starting at just $449. You’re also getting six years of updates, so this phone is built to last.
Samsung Galaxy A57
Samsung’s slimmest A-series yet packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, 50MP triple cameras, and up to 12GB of RAM with the Exynos 1680, all starting at $549. With IP68 durability and six years of updates, it punches well above its weight.
Samsung’s newest mid-range phones, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, are now available to purchase in the US. This is much earlier than last year, when the Galaxy A56 didn’t launch until July.
The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are likely to be some of Samsung’s most popular devices for 2026. Counterpoint just released the sales numbers for phones sold in Q4 2025, and the Galaxy A36 and A56 were the most popular Android phones sold in the holiday quarter.
The Galaxy A57 is priced at $549, as both phones did get a $50 price increase this year. This is likely due to the rising costs of RAM and flash storage, which we’ve heard that this would affect the budget and mid-range phones the most. It comes in Awesome Navy in the US, while the Galaxy A37 comes in Awesome Charcoal and Awesome Lavender on Samsung’s website. Awesome Graygreen is exclusive to Best Buy, and Awesome White is exclusive to Amazon.
Both of these phones are rocking 6.7-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rates and 1,900nits of peak brightness. They also feature triple camera setups, but not all of the cameras are usable. As there is a macro lens on the Galaxy A37.
Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 also bring 6 years of software support
While not quite as long as what Google offers on the Pixel 10a, Samsung is offering 6 years of guaranteed updates for the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57, which is still pretty impressive for the price.
With these two devices, you also get a boatload of AI features, thanks to Galaxy AI. This includes Voice Transcription, AI Select, and an improved Circle to Search. Which Samsung is using its “Awesome Intelligence” branding for.
Samsung did increase the price by $50 on both phones. Amazon is offering a $50 gift card if you purchase one today, with your order. So that kind of negates the price increase. And you can use that gift card for a case or two.
