Samsung Galaxy A37
Samsung’s affordable mid-ranger packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP triple camera system, and IP68 durability starting at just $449. You’re also getting six years of updates, so this phone is built to last.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 is now available, and the price starts at $449.99 in the US. That’s a noticeable jump from last year’s Galaxy A36, which launched at $399. The price increase is largely due to rising RAM and NAND costs that have affected Samsung’s entire 2026 lineup, from the flagship Galaxy S26 series all the way down to its mid-range phones.
In Europe, the Galaxy A37 starts at €429 for the base 6GB RAM model with 128GB of storage. If you want the top-tier variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, you’re looking at €519. That’s roughly a €50 increase over what the Galaxy A36 cost at launch. US pricing is currently limited to what Samsung has listed, and carrier-specific deals may vary.
Speaking of deals, there are a few ways to bring that price down. Samsung.com typically offers trade-in discounts, and you can expect instant credit toward accessories or up to $150 off when trading in an older Galaxy A or S series device. AT&T usually runs installment discounts on Galaxy A models, especially when tied to unlimited plans. Verizon tends to offer buy-one-get-one deals or bill credits for switching carriers.
For the price, Samsung is giving you a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor, a 50MP triple camera system, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, IP68 water resistance, and six years of OS updates. It ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5.
Is it worth the price bump? That depends on what you’re coming from. If you’re upgrading from an older Galaxy A series phone, the improvements in performance, camera quality, and software longevity make it a solid buy. But at $449, it’s creeping closer to the $549 Galaxy A57, which packs a more powerful Exynos 1680 chip. So if performance matters to you, it might be worth spending the extra $100.
