The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G has just been announced for global markets, following its launch in Asia. The phone was announced for India, Thailand, and the Philippines in mid-January. Well, now its global launch follows.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G gets a global model
While Samsung did say that the Galaxy A07 5G will be available in select global regions, the company did not specify where, unfortunately. We’ll have to wait and see, but chances are the device will start popping up soon.
The phone was announced in three colors: Black, Light Green, and Light Violet. As you can see in the provided images, the phone has a flat display with a dewdrop notch, which is not something we’re seeing all that often these days.
The bottom bezel is thicker than the rest, while there are two vertically-aligned cameras on the back. The phone has a flat frame all around and a flat backplate as well.
It has a 120Hz display and a 6,000mAh battery
Its specifications are basically the same as those of the Asian model. You’re getting a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display here with an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is 800 nits.
A 6,000mAh battery is also a part of the package, a larger battery than the one in the Galaxy A06 5G. MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor fuels the phone, while the device comes in both 4GB and 6GB RAM options. It includes 128GB of storage, and you can expand that storage via a microSD card.
The phone is also IP54 certified for water splash resistance, and limited ust resistance. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is included here, while the phone’s backplate is made of glass-fiber-reinforced polymer.

There are two cameras on the back, while Android 16 comes out of the box
A 50-megapixel main camera on the back is backed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, you’ll find an 8-megapixel snapper. The device also has a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
Samsung is promising six generations of Android OS updates and six years of security updates for this phone. Speaking of which, Android 16 comes pre-installed along with One UI 8.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G price tag in global markets will vary from one market to the next. Samsung did not share any details regarding that just yet. This phone will be quite affordable, though, it’s a budget phone.
