
While best known for developing Rockefeller Center, Rockefeller Group Development Corp. has built upwards of 25 projects throughout the US and is now looking at N. Texas. The Dallas Business Journal reports Rockefeller could construct a four-building industrial complex in Irving. Measuring more than 788,000 square feet at 1501 Valley View Lane, the cost to build the venture could exceed $52 million. Construction could start in May and wrap up in mid-2026.
It recently began construction on its first two projects in the Houston market: a four-story apartment complex and a two-building distribution facility.
The company owns and manage approximately six million square feet of office space in the heart of Midtown Manhattan (photo). Through seven regional U.S. development offices they have approximately 14 million square feet of new projects in planning or under construction in multiple asset types, including multifamily, industrial, office, and data centers. The company is part of the Mitsubishi Estate Group of companies.
