Rivian has been America’s most successful non-Tesla electric vehicle manufacturer. The brand has launched and refreshed the capable, well-regarded R1T pickup and R1S SUV. The brand has produced some stunning one-of-one custom designs and signed lucrative tech licensing deals. But we still have not reached what may be the transformative, main event for Rivian: the R2 platform.
