Razer has announced its latest gaming mouse with the launch of the Viper V4 Pro, coming in what essentially feels like a near weightless design to help gamers glide across their mouse mat for those highly precise flicks. The Viper V4 Pro weighs just 49g, which is exceptionally lightweight compared to some of Razer’s other gaming mice options. It’s also a lot lighter than gaming mice from other brands, though not necessarily the lightest gaming mouse on the market. It is close, however.
Building off the popularity of its predecessor, the Viper V4 Pro features all kinds of specs that competitive gamers love to see. It has an 8,000Hz polling rate and a smart polling rate switcher to help you change efficiently and effortlessly. Razer also claims that the mouse has a battery life of up to 180 hours, though the company specifies that this is only with the mouse polling rate set at 1,000Hz. Still, that’s really good if you don’t need the faster polling rate.
Razer is launching the Viper V4 pro in Black and White options, and it is worth noting that the White version weighs 50g instead of 49g.
The Razer Viper V40 Pro is a perfect match for the company’s new mouse mat
A good gaming mouse needs a good gaming mouse mat. To that end, Razer is also announcing the Gigantus V2 Pro to compliment the Viper V4 Pro. What makes this mat nice is that it comes in five different versions. Razer wanted to make sure it had an option that was “tuned for every player.”
No matter what you prefer, one of Razer’s options should work for your play style. There’s one for max control, control, balance, speed, and max speed. So if you want more precise movement or you want fast movement, Razer seems to have you covered.
Both the Razer Viper V4 Pro and the Razer Giagantus V2 Pro are available starting March 24. The Viper V4 Pro retails for $159.99, and the Gigantus V2 Pro is available for $49.99. Both items can be picked up on Amazon but they are also available directly through Razer.
