Lee & Associates NYC assisted EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the optical industry, in securing the new global flagship for Ray-Ban at 62 Prince St. in SoHo. Ray-Ban will now occupy the prime retail corner, previously home to SoHo Park, in a new 2,300 square-foot, 10-year lease.
Mark Kapnick from Lee NYC represented the landlord. The tenant, EssilorLuxottica, was represented by Joanne Podell from Cushman & Wakefield.
“This is a high foot traffic area and a popular destination for both the New York fashion scene and tourists alike, making it a perfect location for Ray-Ban to plant their flag,” said Kapnick. “It was a pleasure working with EssilorLuxottica and Cushman & Wakefield on this deal. SoHo is once again thriving as one of the country’s premier retail corridors, and this location is well-positioned for the future development of Lafayette Street once their term is completed. We are excited to see how Ray-Ban transforms this beautiful space.”
