After the Pixel 9a launched a couple of months earlier this year, it looks like the Pixel 10a will also launch earlier in 2026. According to a new leak from MysticLeaks, it appears that Google is planning a “much earlier” launch for the Pixel 10a. In fact, it could launch before the end of the year.
The leaker also indicated a number of colors for the Pixel 10a, which is far more than we had for the Pixel 9a. These include Black, Blue, Dark Blue, Red and Green. Which makes it sound like the Porcelain option might be gone this time around.
These colors do line up with the wallpapers that were leaked on the same Telegram channel as well. So these color options are not baseless. Though we do not have the official names for these colors just yet.
Previous leaks hinted at a barely changed Pixel 10a
MysticLeaks did also posted a number of leaks about the Pixel 10a back in August, which is important to reiterate.
The Pixel 10a will sport an “enhanced” Google Tensor G4 chip instead of the G5, which means it will still be a Samsung-manufactured chipset. It will also have a slightly brighter display at 2,000nits up from 1,800nits. And it’ll have UFS 3.1 storage, just like the Pixel 9a.
Perhaps the most interesting part here is that Magic Cue will not be included, at least not yet. This could be down to the limited RAM that will be on the Pixel 10a. Keep in mind that the Pixel 9a is only 8GB of RAM, while the Pixel 10 is 12GB. Which is why some AI features are not available on the Pixel 9a.
So a Pixel 10a before the end of the year? That could be interesting. After all, we are seeing quite a few flagships before the end of the year. So to see a new mid-ranger launch then would be very interesting.
