PITAKA has just announced its ultra-slim cases for Samsung’s new foldables – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. They are available right now for just $59.99.
For those that might not be familiar with PITAKA, this is a company known for making minimal cases out of aramid fiber. Now these aren’t just a single color like what we see from other companies using aramid fiber for their cases, PITAKA also has quite a few designs that look amazing on different smartphones.
Just how thin are these cases? Well, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 cases and Galaxy Z Fold 7 cases are just 0.96 to 1.2mm thick. So they won’t add a ton of bulk to your new ultra-thin foldable. Each case also has raised edges around the camera to help guard them from everyday scratches and scuffs. Which makes this a high-performance yet ultra-lightweight solution for mobile protection.
PITAKA does also offer up a woven aramid fiber finish which ensures a tactile, grippy feel. This is important for a $2,000 smartphone, as the last thing you would want to do is drop it.
The best option for MagSafe compatibility
Like most other cases, PITAKA does include MagSafe compatibility with their Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 cases, even though these are super thin cases. That’s pretty impressive, to be quite honest. With MagSafe support, this allows you to use all sorts of MagSafe accessories like external batteries, tripods, wallets and so much more. In this day and age, it really is a must-have feature.
PITAKA currently offers three different styles for the two devices, which are priced at $59.99. Honestly, that’s not a bad price, seeing as a lot of other aramid fiber cases would be priced around $69.99 or higher. PITAKA has the 600D which is just a plain black option, there’s the Sunset and Moonrise options as well which are in red and orange, or a variation of blue.
You can shop the PITAKA case collection on their website.
