Can you believe that it’s been a quarter of a century since the first of those newfangled hybrid cars drove onto US streets? Toyota‘s Prius quickly became the poster child for hybrid technology and, as everyone had come to expect from the Japanese manufacturer, was efficient and cheap to run. However, the Prius has also turned out to be one of the most durable cars over that time, with some careful owners routinely pushing it well past 300,000 miles.
