OPPO is preparing to launch the Find X9 Ultra in just a few weeks. In fact, it was announced this morning by the company, that the global launch will take place on April 21. But that’s not the only flagship OPPO is working on.
According to a leak from Digital Chat Station, OPPO is also working on the Find X10 Pro (or possibly the Find X10 Pro Max), which would feature three 200-megapixel cameras.
These aren’t just any old 200-megapixel cameras either, these are some pretty big lenses.
- 200-megapixel 1/1.3″ primary
- 200-megapixel 1/1.56″ ultrawide
- 200-megapixel 1/1.3″ periscope

That periscope lens is likely a 3x telephoto, which has become OPPO’s bread and butter over the past few years. But with that much resolution, you’ll be able to sensor-crop quite a bit for much further zooming.
OPPO has already cemented itself as one of the best camera phones on the market, largely thanks to its partnership with Hasselblad, but the Find X10 series could move them to the next level.
The Find X10 series likely isn’t launching until this Fall
Unfortunately, the Find X10 series is still many months away. Typically, this would launch shortly after MediaTek and Qualcomm announce their new flagship chips. And this typically takes place around September. But if these rumors are true, OPPO could destroy virtually every other camera phone on the market with this device.
It’s worth noting that these cameras are currently being tested. It’s not 100% confirmed that these will be used in the Find X10 Pro (Max) later this year. But knowing OPPO, I’d be surprised if they didn’t.
The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to be using dual 200-megapixel cameras, which we’ll find out more about in about 3 weeks time. So adding a third wouldn’t be that surprising. Imagine what OPPO could do with that much resolution, plus the Hasselblad tuning. This could end up being the new best phone of the year.
