OPPO is planning to expand its tablet range in the coming days. If we believe the reports, the company is working on two new Android tablets, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini. Ahead of the launch, a handful of details regarding the upcoming slates had already leaked earlier. Now, a tipster on X, who goes by the name Tech Home, has tipped almost the complete specs and design of the upcoming OPPO Pad 5 Pro variant.
OPPO Pad 5 Pro’s design won’t be much different than the predecessor
As you can see in the photo shared by the source, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro tablet will share a design resembling its predecessor, the Pad 4 Pro. It will continue to offer slim bezels all around the screen. The slate will offer a single primary camera at the rear. A vertical, pill-shaped island seems to house this camera and the LED flash unit.

On the front, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro tablet’s design will include a selfie shooter placed inside a hole on one of the bezels. The power key appears on top, while the volume rocker is visible on the top-right side of the body.
The Pad 5 Pro’s specs could include a 13.2-inch display and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
According to the source on X and a listing in the database of China Telecom, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro will arrive with a 13.2-inch LCD-type display bearing a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor could power the flagship-grade tablet. In terms of configuration, the tablet will be available in multiple variants: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB.
As for the other features, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro could have a 13MP primary camera at the rear, accompanied by an 8MP selfie shooter. The tablet will support a stylus for doodling and other tasks. The latest leaks also indicate that OPPO will power the tablet with a 13,380mAh battery, which will support 67W USB 3.2 Gen 1 charging. Furthermore, the leak reveals that the slate will measure 5.94mm around the waist and tip the scale at 672 grams.
OPPO hasn’t yet officially revealed the launch date of the Pad 5 Pro and Pad 5 Mini. However, since most of the details about the new tablets have already leaked, an official unveiling isn’t far away. Apart from these tablets, OPPO is also planning to launch the high-end Find X9 Ultra offering very soon, and we know a lot about it already.
