Yesterday, OPPO confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will become its first ‘Ultra’ flagship to launch globally. Following that announcement, the phone’s charging details have just surfaced.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra will support 100W charging
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra paid a visit to China’s 3C authority. It has been revealed that the device will support 100W charging. The Find X9 Ultra appeared under the PMA110 model number.
This certification, unfortunately, does not mention wireless charging, but the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is rumored to support 50W charging as well. And yes, a charger will be included in the box, almost certainly.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is expected to fuel this smartphone. The device will utilize LPDDR5X RAM, and quite probably UFS 4.1 flash storage.
A large battery is also expected
You can expect to get a larger display with a high refresh rate and a large battery pack. A battery of at least 7,500mAh is tipped for the phone, though we don’t know how accurate the rumors are.
The main attraction of this phone will be its camera setup. Hasselblad will once again be a part of the equation, which is great to hear. The device is tipped to feature two 200-megapixel cameras on the back, in addition to a 50-megapixel one.
The main focus will be on the phone’s cameras
The two 200-megapixel units will be reserved for the main and periscope telephoto units. OPPO could end up using Sony’s LYT-901 camera sensor, the company’s new 200-megapixel near 1-inch sensor. That one could be used for the main camera.
We’re not sure about the periscope telephoto unit yet, but we do expect to see one of Samsung’s new ISOCELL 200-megapixel sensors. Details regarding the ultrawide camera are still a complete mystery.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is expected to launch in April, though OPPO did not confirm the date or launch month just yet.
