OnePlus will soon launch its new Nord series phone, the Nord 6. The first teaser is already out, and there’s a dedicated event page on the Amazon India website. This will update in the coming days to reveal more details about the phone. In the meantime, though, a new leak reveals the OnePlus Nord 6 RAM and storage options.
OnePlus Nord 6 RAM and storage options leak
Tipster Yogesh Brar on X claims the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 will arrive in two memory configurations: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. He explicitly highlights that there will be no 512GB storage option. But the good news is the base storage is 256GB, so no 128GB either. But this may come at a cost.
The tipster adds that the OnePlus Nord 6 may see a price jump of anywhere between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000 over the OnePlus Nord 5. This is roughly $32 to $54 when converted. For context, the OnePlus Nord 5 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 31,999 (~$345).
No OnePlus Nord CE6
Furthermore, the tipster adds that there’s no OnePlus Nord CE6, a low-cost alternative to Nord 6, as of now. Whether this means it’ll launch at a later date or that the series is retired isn’t clear at the moment. This contradicts a leak from another tipster, who recently claimed the Nord CE6 will launch alongside the Nord 6 next month. It seems to be a guessing game at the moment.
Coming back to the OnePlus Nord 6. It may have the same spec sheet as the OnePlus Turbo 6, which went official in China in January. The design could also be identical. If that’s indeed the case, the Nord 6 may arrive with a 6.78-inch display, a 165Hz/144Hz refresh rate, a massive 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 at the helm. A 50MP + 2MP setup on the back and a 16MP lens on the front will cover the camera department.
