It is now official, OnePlus’s next compact flagship smartphone is coming in less than a week. OnePlus confirmed that it will announce the OnePlus 15T in China on March 24.
The OnePlus 15T’s launch date has been confirmed
OnePlus is using the following tagline: “small, powerful, beautiful, and well-rounded” for this launch event. As you can see in the image below, the phone is shown in all three colors, which we’ve seen before.

According to the OnePlus China head, Louis Jie, the OnePlus 15T is made to deliver a flagship experience, targeting performance and battery life metrics that rival or surpass larger devices.
As you can see, the phone will feature a flat display, with immensely thin and uniform bezels. A display camera hole will be on the display, while the sides and back will be flat as well.
It will utilize Qualcomm’s most powerful chip
This smartphone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Qualcomm’s best chip. It is also said to offer LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash storage, on top of a 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery.
A 6.32-inch OLED display will also be used, with a 120Hz refresh rate. 100W wired charging will also be on offer, while we’re also expecting 50W wireless charging to be supported.
The phone will also be IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certified, thus offering excellent ingress protection. Two 50-megapixel cameras are expected on its back. In addition to the main shooter, a telephoto one will be included.
Android 16 will come pre-installed on the device, along with OnePlus’ custom skin on top of it. You can also expect good stereo speakers and more.
There’s a good chance we won’t get a global variant
The OnePlus 15T does look great on paper, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like it will be coming to global markets. Its predecessor launched only in China and India, and the same could be the case with this unit. We hope that’s not the case, though.
