Why was the OnePlus 15 delayed in the US?
The OnePlus 15 was delayed in the US due to the government shutdown that lasted well over a month. You might be wondering why that would affect a smartphone launch? Well, the shutdown did affect the certification of the OnePlus 15. The FCC needs to certify a phone before it can be sold in the US. The OnePlus 15 has now been certified, so it is able to be sold now.
This is also likely why the Galaxy S26 series is being delayed until late February next year. Though we don’t know for sure. But it would make a lot of sense.
While the OnePlus 15 does seem like a downgrade from the OnePlus 13, it is still a really good device, with incredible battery life and very capable cameras. You can check out my OnePlus 15 review to learn more about the device, and see if it’s the right phone for your needs.
