A new update is now rolling out to the OnePlus 15. Do note that this update’s rollout has started in India, but it will quickly spread to other markets. It’s marked as CPH2745_16.0.5.700(EX01), in case you were wondering.
A new OnePlus 15 update brings the March 2026 security patch and new features
The update weighs 1.11GB, so it’s not exactly small. The changelog is not exactly feature-rich, though. There are five entries in the changelog, led by a security patch. This update does bring the March 2026 Android security patch.
On top of that, once you install this OnePlus 15 update, you’ll be able to start multiple timers simultaneously for more efficient multitasking. Timers can now also display estimated stop times, just to make things easier.
OnePlus’ Content Portal now supports app clones for easier content sharing. The last entry says that OnePlus added the “Automatically open received files” switch, which will let you choose whether to automatically open shared files upon receipt.
So, as already mentioned, the update is not feature-rich, but there is new functionality included here, as you can see. It’s not exactly groundbreaking, but some of you will certainly appreciate it.
It’s coming to more markets soon
OnePlus usually pushes out updates rather fast to other markets, following their initial launch. When it comes to global models, they usually launch in India first. It’s coming to other markets soon, though.
Just keep in mind that even when the update starts rolling out in other markets, it will be rolling out in stages. You’ll need to be patient, as it may not arrive on your phone straight away.
OnePlus released quite a few updates to the OnePlus 15 since the phone’s launch a couple of months ago. As per usual, the company wanted to fine-tune everything and also provide some new functionality in the process. OnePlus’ monthly updates are rarely just about security patches.
