In early January, Motorola announced its World Cup 2026 smartphone. Its name is the Motorola Razr 60 FIFA World Cup 26 Edition, and that device went on sale recently. Well, it seems like Motorola is getting ready to announce second and third World Cup 2026 smartphones.
World Cup 2026-themed Motorola Razr Fold & Signature are coming
Evan Blass went on X to confirm that a FIFA-themed Motorola Razr Fold and Signature are on the way as well. The Both of these phones were announced in early January. The Razr Fold is the company’s first-ever book-style foldable, while the Signature is the new bar-tyle flagship.
There’s no specific information about these upcoming Motorola phones. We are expecting something along the lines of a special edition Razr 60, actually. The FIFA logo will likely sit on the back, and the devices will have a special colorway. It’s unclear whether it will be identical to the one the World Cup Razr 60 model, though.
We can assume that the devices will have the exact same design as their regular counterparts, but a different paint job. Based on what the Razr 60 delivered, the specs will also remain unchanged, while some exclusive content will be available.
The World Cup Razr 60 comes with special World Cup 2026-themed wallpapers, while we’re expecting to see something similar on the World Cup 2026 Motorola Razr Fold and Signature as well. The same goes for a ringtone(s).
We’re not sure when will they arrive, but it should happen soon
We’re not sure when will the two devices become official, but considering that the World Cup starts in a couple of months, that will probably happen very soon.
The Motorola Razr Fold is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and comes with an 8.09-inch main OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display measures 6.56 inches, and it’s also an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device comes with Android 16 out of the box, along with a triple 50-megapixel camera setup on the back. Stereo speakers are on board, as is a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Do note that the Motorola Razr Fold is still not available to purchase, and some spec details are still missing.
The Motorola Signature, on the other hand, is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. A 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display is used here, along with a 5,200mAh battery. The phone has a quartet of 50MP cameras, three of which are on the back. 90W wired and 50W wireless charging is supported.
