The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a genuine American supercar. It is the middle ground offering in Chevy’s current Corvette lineup, succeeding the entry-level Stingray, but not as potent as the ZR1. Fun fact: When developing the Z06, Chevrolet used the Ferrari 458 Italia as a benchmark, going so far as to dismantle its flat-plane V8 engine. However, thankfully, Chevy’s engineers didn’t borrow its dodgy braking system, which has led to some legal issues.
