One of the most impressive Ferrari-focused auctions in recent memory is about to take place. RM Sotheby’s will offer The Tailored for Speed Collection at The Dolder Grand Hotel in Zürich on 11 October 2025, a single-owner treasure trove filled with the rarest supercars and hypercars in the world. The collection spans vintage Ferrari grand tourers, cutting-edge hypercars, and track-only machines, with 42 cars going under the hammer. With newer Ferrari models getting mixed reviews, including the 849 Testarossa, Ferrari fanatics have a chance to be reminded why they fell in love with the brand in the first place.

9 cars in the collection are strictly built for the track, with most of them flaunting a prancing horse. The XX program is represented with the FXX-K Evo, FXX Evo, and 599XX Evo, while GT racers like the 488 GT3 Evo and 488 GTE Evo showcase the brand’s endurance racing pedigree. But above all, the most valuable car up for auction is the legendary 333 SP prototype. And then, to break the trend, two track-focused Mercedes-AMG GTs make an appearance. Even the race cars have seen minimal mileage and are maintained to the highest standard, hence the hefty price tags.

While Ferrari dominates the collection, some of the world’s most desirable hypercars make an appearance, too. From one of the fastest cars ever made, the Bugatti Chiron Supercar, to the latest in Pagani’s line-up, the Utopia, there’s just a dash of diversity to keep things interesting. And don’t think just because this collector adored Ferrari, he couldn’t switch things up by adding a one-of-63 reskinned Lamborghini Aventador to the bunch.
2023 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport: $3,750,000 – $4,400,000
2021 Pagani Huayra Roadster BC: $4,000,000 – $4,400,000

Total Value of the Collection
RM Sotheby’s
It’s difficult to put a price on a collection as comprehensive and unique as the Tailored for Speed Collection. However, based on the low-end estimates, the total value of the collection is roughly $67 million, with high-end estimates pushing it to about $77 million. With more than half of the cars up for sale being offered without a reserve price, it’s safe to say most of them will find new homes by next month. This auction is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for collectors to secure some of the most coveted cars in the world.
