Colliers finalized the sale of the Odd Fellows Temple in San Francisco. Located at 1101 Market St, the property is a six-story building that houses several arts and nonprofit organizations.
SVP Pete Mikacich represented both the buyer, a private investor, and the seller, Odd Fellows Hall Association. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
“While the marketing of this one-of-a-kind asset presented challenges, in the end, we are extremely gratified that the new ownership is committed to preserving the unique environment that has defined this property for decades,” said Mikacich.
Built in 1909, the structure replaced an earlier building that was deliberately demolished in an attempt to halt the spread of fires following the 1906 earthquake. The property is one of the longest continuously owned assets in San Francisco. The Odd Fellows Hall Association has owned and operated out of the property and its predecessor since 1880.
