NVIDIA is promising some pretty interesting advancements with the technology it’s working on, as CEO Jensen Huang recently stated that its next-gen chips will be the likes of which the world has never seen. These chips, which the company hasn’t announced yet, are likely to be revealed at the company’s GTC event that takes place next month.
Officially, it begins on March 15 and will likely focus almost entirely on what NVIDIA has planned for the future of its AI infrastructure. Although there’s no guarantee that it won’t have other things to showcase, as NVIDIA makes technology for more than a few different market segments. AI just happens to be its biggest segment right now.
NVIDIA says its next-gen chips will be something the world has never seen before
This is a bold statement to make, if only for the fact that the implication is that NVIDIA has something incredible to show off. The truth is that Huang is probably not really exaggerating here. NVIDIA tends to be at the forefront of its industry. Despite having some issues with GPUs the past couple of generations, its hardware still ends up being the go-to choice for most gamers. Its GPU features are certainly ahead of AMD, even though AMD has been catching up.
NVIDIA is also leading the charge on the most advanced AI infrastructure with the most powerful chips there as well. So, if Huang says these chips will be something the world has never seen before, there’s a good chance it’s true. That being said, that’s about all the details Huang has given on this new chip hardware.
In speaking with Korean media this week, Huang didn’t say anything else, only that it would be something new and that it would be revealed at GTC.
Wccftech reports that it could be related to NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin AI lineup. NVIDIA announced this back during CES 2026, so it would make sense. The other possibility is that it could be something related to the next-gen Feynman chips. Either could be a strong possibility. But without much detail, it’s tough to tell for sure.
