Nubia Air is the brand’s upcoming super-sleek phone. In addition to borrowing the ‘Air’ branding, which Apple may use for its iPhone 17 Air, the phone will also feature a slim design. A recent leak offered us a glimpse of the design and the complete hardware specifications. The fresh renders now give us the best look of the Nubia Air design from every angle.
Nubia Air design leaks from every angle
Reliable tipster @evleaks on X has shared more images, which appear to be from marketing material, of the Nubia Air. These suggest the phone could be available in black and what looks like beige/gold shades. Interestingly, the image confirms the phone measures 5.9mm, but this is apparently the thickness of the mid-frame. The earlier leak claimed the Nubia Air would be 6.7mm.
One of the images has the caption ‘Born Solid, But Slim,’ reiterating its slim profile. There’s an image with the phone underwater, highlighting the IP68 and IP69 rating. The volume up and down, and the power button are present on the right. The latter has red-color accents, giving it a distinguished look. There’s a Google Pixel-like horizontal camera visor on the back panel, and this accommodates the triple camera lenses.

The phone may have a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i layer
The Nubia Air will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection against drops and scratches. The front of the Nubia Air is occupied by a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter. The black borders around the screen are reasonably slim for a mid-range model. There’s no 3.5mm audio jack in sight, at least in the images.
Other Nubia Air specs may include a Unisoc T800 chip, Android 15 OS, a 5,000mAh battery, and 256GB native storage. For cameras, you may get a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP lens, and a 0.08MP sensor. There’s a 20MP lens on the front for selfies. While, we still don’t have the price details, it shouldn’t be very expensive considering the brand’s track record, even with its premium models.
