- Novitec refines Ferrari’s 12Cilindri with subtle design updates.
- New carbon fiber lip spoiler improves downforce and handling.
- Exhaust system uses Inconel with optional 99 gold plating.
If there’s one German tuner we can rely on to enhance, rather than diminish, the supercars it works with, it’s Novitec. The company has now set its sights on the 12Cilindri, and it hasn’t held back in refining Ferrari’s V12-powered grand tourer even further.
The upgrades begin where the wind first meets the car. Novitec fits a new carbon fiber lip spoiler that does more than lend a motorsport edge, increasing downforce across the front wheels for steadier handling at speed.
The clamshell-style hood, already dramatic in its sculpted form, now gains two functional air outlets cut neatly into its clamshell surface. Just ahead of the windshield sits another addition, a carbon fiber panel that ties the design together while aiding airflow management.

Some subtle, yet welcome, modifications have also been made to the rear of the 12Cilindri, including a carbon fiber lip spoiler and a new diffuser. Crucially, these parts aren’t over-the-top and don’t ruin the supercar’s original design.
Complementing the carbon parts are a set of 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels developed with Vossen, and clad in 275/35 front and 325/30 rear tires.
To complete the look, Novitec has dropped the ride height by 30 mm (1.1 inches) with some new sport springs. It’s also added carbon fiber wing mirror covers. However, it’s not these parts that transform the 12Cilindri’s look the most.
By painting the black strip between the headlights in body color, Novitec eliminates one of the 12Cilindri’s few awkward details. The effect is transformative, giving the front end a seamless, more cohesive look that Ferrari itself might have considered.

Then there’s perhaps the highlight. Novitec has engineered a high-performance exhaust for the car, which can be manufactured from lightweight Inconel, should the customer wish, and even features 99 fine gold plating.
Novitec says its engineers are still developing performance upgrades for the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, which means there’s more to come for those who believe even a Ferrari can be improved upon.
