Nothing is expected to be present at the MWC 2026 event next month to unveil its next-generation mid-range models, the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro. The new models may arrive with a better IP rating and a new design, among other things. Making things more serious, Nothing has started teasing the Phone 4a series launch with a colorful new teaser image. This seems to be a subtle hint for multiple colors for the duo.
Nothing Phone 4a teaser
Nothing’s official X (formerly Twitter) has shared an image that seemingly shows “(a)” in five different colors: blue, yellow, pink, white, and black. The post has the caption “soon.” This is the first teaser about the Phone 4a series, but we should be seeing more of them in the coming days. Ones that’ll also reveal some key specs.
The Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro will succeed the Phone 3a from last year. The recent specs leak said that the phones will get a brand new design. Will this mean the signature transparent design is getting replaced with something different? We’ll know next month at MWC.
Upgraded specs, but prices might increase
The Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro are likely to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. They might house a 5,100mAh to 5,200mAh battery with 50W fast charging. This is a pretty modest upgrade from the 5,000mAh cell on the Phone 3a series. The fast charging speed is not seeing any bump this year. The Phone 4a duo might house a 120Hz flat OLED display.
The Nothing 4a Pro could also get an IP65 rating for better water and dust resistance. The leak says that the prices of the phones will increase, which doesn’t surprise, considering the rising component costs. Reports from December last year said that the price of the vanilla Nothing Phone 4a could be $475, and the Pro could cost $540. With everything known so far, it has the potential to be one of the Best Budget Android Phones of 2026, depending on the final price.
Considering that Nothing has confirmed that it won’t launch any flagship phone this year, the Phone 4a series now becomes very important for it. The Phone 4a series may debut on March 5th.
