Motorola‘s last foldable flip phone in the 2026 Razr lineup that hasn’t been seen yet in leaks is the Razr 70 Ultra, but that changes today with newly leaked CAD renders of the phone, and it unsurprisingly looks much like last year’s Razr Ultra. The other versions of this year’s Razr didn’t receive much of a change in design either, so it wasn’t expected that Ultra model would follow a different path and change up the design. There are minor differences, of course, but the overall design is basically the same.
In other words, you likely wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if you simply glanced at the phone for a quick second. But look a little longer, and you might spot the small changes. If you’re fairly familiar with the Razr 2025 lineup, and the Razr Ultra 2025 in particular (which was one of 2025’s best foldable smartphones), then you can probably tell that this is a new model based solely on the different color. As the 2025 model doesn’t come in the color shown in these renders. Then again, it’s still worth remembering these are renders, and the color shown in them may not entirely reflect the final look.
Leaked Motorola Razr 70 Ultra renders show the phone’s Moto AI button
The Moto AI button was present on last year’ Razr series so this isn’t a new feature that’s being added, but it showcases that Motorola has chosen not to deviate from keeping this button around. You can see the Moto AI button on the left side of the phone while the right side holds the power and volume buttons.
It is mentioned in the leaks that the new Razr 70 Ultra appears to come with a slightly thicker build. It’s claimed to have the same size displays internally and externally, but the dimensions have been altered a bit. According to OnLeaks (via XpertPick), the Razr 70 Ultra is now 7.8mm thick when unfolded. The previous model was 7.2mm thick unfolded. So, Motorola decided to increase the thickness a little bit.
There are still no specs mentioned, which means it remains unclear what chipset the Razr 70 Ultra will be using. Though it is suspected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, as Motorola used Qualcomm’s flagship chipset for the Ultra last year. That being said, it’s possible to speculate on some of the specs based on previous leaks for the other versions.
