
At IFA 2025’s Lenovo Innovation World event, Motorola introduced a range of new mobile devices. The announcement includes a new addition to the Edge series, the Motorola Edge 60 Neo, and two new models for the G series, the Moto G06 Power and Moto G06. The devices vary in size and features, offering distinct options for different user needs.
Motorola Edge 60 Neo: the compact option
The Motorola Edge 60 Neo is a compact mid-range device with robust features. Measuring 154.11×71.24×8.09mm and weighing 174.5g, it is one of the lightest phones in its class. The handset features a 6.4-inch 1.5K pOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Its design incorporates MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP68/69 rating for protection against dust and water. The device is also available in Pantone-curated colors, including Frostbite, Poinciana, and Grisaille.

The Motorola Edge 60 Neo offers a versatile triple-lens rear camera system. It includes a 50MP main lens with a Sony LYTIA sensor and OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV that also serves as a macro camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and Super Zoom up to 30x. The front-facing camera is 32MP. All cameras support 4K video recording. The device integrates moto AI capabilities, which include a Photo Enhancement Engine, Signature Style, and Adaptive Stabilization.
The phone’s “Next Move” capability proactively suggests actions based on on-screen content. A MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM powers all the features. You can buy the handset with up to 512GB of onboard storage. The 5,000mAh battery supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. The company claims 44 hours of battery life and a full day’s charge in 7 minutes. The Edge 60 Neo runs on Android 15, and Motorola promises four OS upgrades/five years of security maintenance releases.
Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power: the affordable siblings
The Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power targets the budget segment. In fact, both share many of their key specifications. They feature a 6.88-inch HD+ (1640×720 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phones are powered by a MediaTek Helio G81-Extreme chipset. You’ll also find up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage (expandable to 1TB).
Regarding cameras, the phones equip an AI-powered 50MP main camera system with a 2-in-1 light sensor for faster focus. They feature stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bass Boost. The Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power also include Circle to Search with Google and Gemini.
The primary distinction between the two devices is the battery. The Moto G06 Power houses a 7,000mAh battery, which is noted as the largest in its segment, and supports 18W fast charging, offering over two and a half days of battery life. The standard Moto G06 model comes with a 5,200mAh battery and a charging speed of 10W. Both devices have an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and their software commitment is two years of security updates.
