Mitsubishi’s best vehicle in years, the Outlander, is getting an off-road variant sometime next year. The company teased both the ruggedized Outlander and an already-announced fully electric crossover, both due in 2026, alongside its existing lineup. The EV under the sheets looks suspiciously like the Nissan Leaf, which wouldn’t be too surprising considering the tie-ins between the two automakers. In that vein, the off-road Outlander variant might borrow a thing or two from Nissan’s Rock Creek lineup of crossovers, though Mitsubishi didn’t commit to anything specific in its teaser.
