It hasn’t been the easiest project to get going, but McCraney Property Co. is moving closer to building a 1.3 million-square-foot industrial park in West Charlotte. The Charlotte Business Journal reports McCraney paid $10.2 million for the land in 2021 and has been battling to line up its entitlements ever since. The company has to spend another year building a road providing access to the project. It will allow entry to Logistics 485 at The River District industrial park.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Fermin Deoca and Matt Treble are leading leasing efforts for McCraney at Logistics 485 at The River District.
The park will be able to accommodate industrial tenants anywhere from 20,000 to 400,000-plus square feet.
McCraney Property Company has over 35 years of experience designing, developing, and constructing warehouse, distribution and flex space. The company has built more than 15 million square feet of industrial property in metropolitan markets and along major highways in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
