Mazda is determined to bring the rotary engine back in a production car, but not quite the way you remember it. The Japanese automaker wowed everyone two years ago at the Japan Mobility Show when it revealed the Iconic SP Concept with a range-extender rotary powertrain, and now it’s about to do the same thing yet again.
